Dumpster Crushr of Florida is dedicated to providing efficient waste management solutions. We specialize in reducing the number of times you need hauling services, helping you save time and money. Our innovative crushing technology compresses your waste, allowing you to make the most out of each bin.
About us
Dumpster Crushr of Florida (No “E” in Crushr) was founded by Bruce and Diane Ackerman at the end of 2020. The goal was to start a company that provides a service that people need. Crushing the contents of open top dumpsters gives the user of the dumpster more space for trash as well as reducing the number of hauls by more than 50% which saves the user significant $’s.
Over the past 4 years they have come to realize that they could grow a company while helping people at the same time. Our employees are our most precious asset, and we treat them like family. Any customer will see that when they interact with our drivers/crushers as their professionalism is second to none.
Dumpster Crushr supports numerous non-profits such as Hearts 4 Minds, V for Victory, American Cancer Society, Jay Fund, and the Boy Scouts (Eagle Scouts). Additionally, Bruce and Diane are proud supporters of the military as their son Michael serves as a Lieutenant in the United States Army.
Along the way there have been challenges. In April of 2023, Bruce was in a horrific motorcycle accident where a woman doing methamphetamines in her car drove head on into Bruce on his bike at 60 mph. He survived and has spent the past year working himself back to 100% and now frequently goes out in one of the trucks and crushes.
